Unnatural Disaster Show Photos and Recap!

It was a crazy night. There was some incredible artwork and awesome bands.  But organizing everything  was so hectic the organizers fell a bit behind on setting up. I was asked to come early to get my special fx make-up done. But everyone was running around and so I didn't get into make-up until the event already started letting people in. That normally wouldn't be a big deal, except my performance was with the first band (Clevis) and they began to play just as I was getting my make-up done! Suddenly I heard the song play that I was suppose to be onstage dancing to! I almost had a panic attack! But it was all a misunderstanding and they had a solution. After the next band Clevis would go back on to do a one song encore and replay the song I was suppose to perform in and do a different more intricate version of the song. I was happy and relieved except now I had to wait in heavy layers of clothes, in 6 inch spiked boots and with thick special fx make-up on my face under a mask that I could not reveal before my performance and I had to wait like that for 30 min or longer. I was getting hot, uncomfortable, and exhausted before even doing my dance. but in the end, I think it all came together and was worth it!

you can check out my performance here:

And don't forget that this dance was improv!
