Unnatural Abduction of the Aliens in Los Angeles... and You

This past Memorial Day weekend was memorable indeed. All new Ave Rose accessories and artwork made their debut, and the turn out was up to snuff more than a Hufflepuff at the Wizard Alley Craft Fair at Whimsic Alley.  Ave Rose also performed an opening operatic aria to launch a bizarre but enticing, philanthropic event of Chessboxing.

What happens to people after experiencing an Ave Rose aria.

But what's on the rise for this weekend with IPM?
Why, aliens, of course.
In good ole Los Angeles.

This Saturday night, the Aliens are hitting LA and joining forces with the Unnatural Alliance for an epic show of music and art, which has been plugged in Los Angeles highlights for weeks--namely the LA Music Blog and the Tool news feed (archives May 8, 2013). Basically, this is going to be an alien interaction of mothership magnitude, so you won't want to miss it.

Aside from a slew of bands, and a hoard of art from across the Los Angeles County solar system, welcome a  long awaited, dearly hoped for, damned to be decked out Aliens in LA appearance and book signing. Get a copy, bring a copy, or just bring your bad ass on.  Come in costume, or just come.
Got aliens?
Details one more time:
Aliens in  LA sighting and book signing scheduled at the
at
8 p.m. until the last alien departs

Basically, it's kind of a big deal.

Also this weekend, minutes from Whimsic Alley, once the shops shut down and the wizards wind up their wands for the night, join Ave Rose doing an opening opera performance at the culture-clashing, charity-supporting, combat sport known as LA Chessboxing

"Chessboxing is a new sport in which one three-minute round of chess is followed by one three-minute round of boxing and then back to the same chess game against the same opponent. Whoever wins by either checkmate or in the ring first WINS! All events are dedicated to supporting charities and helping people who learn to chessbox become superheroes in their communities by fighting for philanthropy."
