Between Life and Afterlife
This
series of photographs was taken over several years, in an ongoing
visual investigation of the lives of public servants who work with the
dead, and the “afterlife” of those whose remains they examine and care
for. Taken in Medical Examiner and Coroner Offices all over the United
States in the 1980’s, 90’s and early 2000’s, these photographs depict a
former Medical Examiner’s effort to confront emotionally and spiritually
what she had, in conducting the duty of her profession, engaged with on
an intellectual and professional level over several decades. The author
of these photographs, maintaining anonymity for her subjects, is known
only as Dr. Thanos.

Don't miss this once in a death-time treat. Because while in his house at R'lyeh, dead Cthulhu may wait dreaming, but Dr. Thanos waits with her camera. Not to mention, Mother will be displaying a few new small pieces as well.
